The Davao Bloggers Society General Assembly 2025 was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. From reconnecting with old friends to welcoming new faces, this year’s GA was a testament to the strength and passion of the DBS community.
Held at Three Yards, Davao’s newest creative event space, the GA provided the perfect setting for meaningful discussions, exciting announcements, and, of course, tons of fun. The energy in the room was undeniable—proof that blogging and content creation in Davao are thriving more than ever.

One of the key highlights of the GA was the introduction of the Special Membership and updated DBS renewal guidelines. These changes reflect our commitment to creating a more engaged, dynamic, and inclusive blogging community. Whether you’re a long-time member or just starting your blogging journey, these updates ensure that everyone has the opportunity to grow and contribute to DBS in meaningful ways.
Before diving into the GA’s discussions, we took a moment to reflect on our recent activities such as last year’s GA, Corporate Social Responsibility, Acquaintance and Christmas Party, which all turned out to be a huge success! Laughter, good food, and meaningful connections made these events all for the book. The positive feedback from members just proves that DBS is indeed the best.

This year’s GA sparked important conversations about the evolving digital landscape, the direction of DBS, and how we can continue to create valuable, relevant content. With the introduction of updated rules to align with the community’s growth, members left feeling inspired, empowered, and ready to take on the year ahead.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the support of our incredible partners:
