As we slowly approach the end of the year, one thing all Davao Bloggers Society members, partners, friends, and officers anticipate is the DBS annual Christmas party. For 2024, the party is titled Elegance in Tradition: A DBS Filipino Christmas Celebration. The modern Filipiniana-themed occasion will be held on November 30.
This year, the DBS officers raise the flag to bring a unique and extravagant party with exciting surprises, games, prizes, and performances. The members and guests are in for a spectacle while they showcase Pinoy pride and strut their traditional and contemporary ensembles to the stages and runway of Home Crest Hotel at Ecoland, Davao City. The coveted Best Dressed award will have a twist and feature additional standout awardees to the repertoire.
Apart from the raffles, prizes, costume awards, and performances, the annual Christmas party will also hold the Davao Blog Awards 2024: Bloggers and Influencers Who Shine Through Native Content, which will be grand and circumspective. It will award the bloggers and creators who have consistently produced native content to captivate, entertain, inform, and inspire their audiences and co-creators. The awards ceremony is expected to give seven niche awards and two top awards: the Social Media Star of the Year and the Davao Blogger of the Year.
