On the Viva Magenta Night of July 22, 2023, the Davao Bloggers Society gathered for an extraordinary Acquaintance Party. As the premier blogging society in Davao City, the event brought together old and new members, fostering camaraderie and collaboration in the vibrant blogging community. The atmosphere at the venue, exuded a classic charm, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
The evening commenced at exactly 5:00 PM with Ms. Athina Angliongto, the Auditor, leading the opening prayer, setting the tone for a meaningful and joyous gathering.
Jexx Hinggo, the Special Events Director, masterfully took the stage as the Host of the Event. The Blog Contest was first given the good news by Sir Jexx. Next, was acknowledging the program’s sponsors, who played an instrumental role in making the night a big success.

Ms. Nep-c Ledesma, the Vice President for External Affairs, graced the stage with her inspiring opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to all DBS and sharing motivational messages that set a positive tone for the night.
The excitement heightened as Auditor Ms. Pau Ruta initiated the raffle draws. Everyone eagerly anticipated the chance to win various prizes generously provided by the sponsors. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and joy as each raffle prize was announced.
The induction of officers was a moment of pride and honor as the Board of Trustee Sir Andrew dela Serna, officiated the oath-taking ceremony – filled the room with a sense of responsibility and commitment. The President, Gem Tadefa, delivered a heartfelt Acceptance Speech, expressing gratitude and outlining his vision for the future of the Davao Bloggers Society.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter too, as old friends caught up and new connections were made. Amidst the chit-chat and laughter, friendships blossomed, and bloggers found opportunities for potential collaborations, further strengthening the premier blogging community in Davao City.
To add a touch of nostalgia and pure delight, two games, Charades and Rock Paper and Scissors, were organized by the Officers. The room was filled with enthusiastic participation as bloggers of all ages playfully embraced their inner child – creating an atmosphere reminiscent of carefree childhood days. The games brought everyone together, fostering a sense of unity and shared joy, making it one of the unforgettable highlights of the evening.
The Acquaintance Party of the Davao Bloggers Society was an extraordinary gathering that celebrated not only the love for blogging but also the spirit of unity and friendship.
