We are in the midst of a pandemic. During this time, social media is the king of information. News and info, whether legitimate or fake, are being spread around, causing people more fear and panic. Hence, the Department of Health and the City Government of Davao have these reminders for everyone:
1. The DOH official site, Viber, and Facebook Page is active and operative 24/7. Only refer to it for official updates.
2. The City Government of Davao posts live updates as well.
3. Do not spread unverified information or fake news. Double-check everything before trusting information both offline and online.
4. Stay at home. Go out only if you need to buy food or if you are one of the front liners. Those who will disobey this rule will be penalized.
5. Focus on how to contain the coronavirus by applying preventive measures such as social distancing and washing hands properly.
6. If you are experiencing fever, colds, cough, sore throat, and diarrhea, immediately contact the Covid-19 Operations Center to receive appropriate guidance and help. Do not take medications that are not prescribed by your doctor.
